How is CGPA calculated ? – CBSE

  1. The Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is the average of Grade Points obtained in all the subjects (excluding additional 6th subject) as per Scheme of Studies.
  2. An indicative equivalence of Grade Point and percentage of marks is computed as follows:
  3. Subject wise indicative percentage of marks =9.5x GP of the subject Overall indicative percentage of marks =9.5x CGPA
