Indian Institute of Foreign trade (IIFT) exam is conducted for admission to Post-Graduate degree programme in Management with special focus on International Business.

Register Online IIFT 2018 :

• Click on “Apply Now” and choose the category under which you want to apply.
• Fill in the basic details required for registration and submit the form.
• Once submitted, Application number will be generated and intimated through an email sent to the registered email id.
• Log in to the website using the Application No. mentioned in the email and Password entered by you while registering.
• Follow the links to complete the registration process.
• Once completed, the intimation regarding successful registration will be sent to the registered email id.

Demand Draft – Applicant has to get a DD made in favour of INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FOREIGN TRADE, payable at NEW DELHI, since the candidate is required to fill in the details of the Demand Draft in the online application form.

• Upload your scanned photograph and signature in .jpg / .jpeg format only (file size not more than 50kb each). Click here for the process of uploading the photograph and signature
• Once online process is complete, keep a print-out of the filled-in application form for your own record.
• Please ensure that you have successfully logged out of the website after completion of the registration process.
• Last date to fill the application form :
  • For General/SC/ST/PH/OBC(NCL) : First Week Of September 2017
  • For Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI Candidates : First Week Of  February 2018

• Recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any discipline.
• Candidates appearing in final year of Graduation can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by First Week Of October 2018.
• No age limit.

EXAM PATTERN OF ADMISSION TEST IIFT 2018

• The admission test is a multiple choice objective type written test (in English).
• Duration of the test is two hours and will cover English Comprehension, General Knowledge & Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Analysis.

For General Category.

• If paying through Credit / Debit Card: The canddiates are not required to send the print-out of the online application form.
• If paying through Demand Draft:
  1. Print-out of the Online Application Form.
  2. Original Demand Draft of requisite amount with Name, Address & Application No. mentioned on the back-side of the demand draft.

For SC / ST / PH / OBC (NCL) Category.

1. Print-out of the Online Application Form.
2. Self attested copy of caste certificate for SC / ST / PH candidates.
3. Self attested copy of Central Level OBC (non creamy layer) certificate (Sample).
4. Original Demand Draft of requisite amount with Name, Address & Application No. mentioned on the back-side of the demand draft (if not paying through credit / debit card).

For Foreign National/ NRI/ Children of NRI.

1. Copy of GMAT score.
2. Foreign National: Proof of nationality, photocopy of first & last page of passport.
3. NRI category: photocopy of first & last page of the candidate’s passport, letter from embassy as a proof of NRI.
4. Children of NRI Category: photocopy of first & last page of the NRI parent’s passport, letter from embassy as a proof of Children of NRI.
5. Original Demand Draft of requisite amount with Name, Address & Application No. on the back-side of demand draft (if not paying through credit / debit card).

FAQs FOR MBA(IB) 2018-20 ENTRANCE EXAM IIFT 2018

• Can I change/modify the data once I submit the form?
• No you cannot change the data. For any modifications in the form kindly send us an e-mail from your registered e-mail id mentioning your Full name (as it is written on the application form), application form no. and the details to be edited. Please note that only few basic information can be modified.

• What do you mean by OBC(Non Creamy Layer)?
• Candidates will belong to OBC(NCL) category if their cast/community appears in the Central List of Other Backward Classes which is recognized as a Backward Class under:
  1. Government of India, Ministry of Welfare Resolution No. 12011/68/93-BCC (C) dated 10 September, 1993 published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary Part-I Section-1 dated the 13th September, 1993.
  2. Government of India, Ministry of Welfare Resolution No. 12011/9/94-BCC dated 19.10.1994 published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary Part-1, Section-1, No. 163 dated 20.10.1994.

• Is change of Centre permitted?
• For change of centre the candidate is required to send a written request duly signed by the student and a DD of Rs.500/- in favour of INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FOREIGN TRADE payable at NEW DELHI. This request must be sent on or before First Week Of November 2017.

• When will I receive the admit card?
• The Admit Cards will be sent BY POST to all the students, who submit filled-in application forms complete in all respects (online or offline), in the second week of November 2017. Applicants, who do not receive their Admit Cards by Mid Of November 2017, can download their Admit Card from IIFT’s website. With a print out of the Admit card, the candidates should reach the venue of the Exam Centre on 27^th November 2017 latest by 9.00 a.m. with one of the following documents: (a) Passport (b) Election I-Card (c) College I-Card (d) Driving License or (e) PAN Card for appearing in the Exam.

• Bank name is not appearing on my printed online application form.
• Bank name will appear only for those candidates whose mode of payment for the online form is Demand Draft. If the mode of payment is by Credit/Debit card, bank name will not be printed and the space there will remain blank.
