ADDENDUM – NOTICE TO CANDIDATES

Reference Union Public Service Commission’s Advertisement No. SPL/52/2016 published on 27.02.2016, Vacancy No. 16025201727, Item No. 01 with closing date of submission of Online Application being 23:59 Hrs. on 17.03.2016 for Recruitment to 15 Posts of Medical Officer/Research Officer (Ayurveda), Ministry of Ayush.

 

The Commission have decided to conduct a COMPUTER BASED RECRUITMENT TEST (CBRT) for short-listing the candidates for the posts on 19.03.2017 (SUNDAY) (AFTERNOON SESSION) from 02.00 P.M to 04.00 P.M. (CANDIDATE’S REPORTING TIME AT EXAM CENTRE IS 12.30 P.M.) at the following Centers. Only such candidates who are shortlisted after CBRT would be asked to submit documents in support of their claim for the posts. Their documents will be scrutinized and those candidates who fulfill all the eligibility conditions of the posts shall be called for interview.

NOTE-I: INTIMATION ABOUT VENUE OF THE RECRUITMENT TEST  WILL  BE COMMUNICATED  TO      THE CANDIDATES IN  DUE COURSE.

NOTE-II:    CBRT    AND     THE INTERVIEW SHALL CARRY A 75:25 WEIGHTAGE FOR THOSE  CANDIDATES SHORTLISTED  OUT   OF   THE COMPUTER BASED RECRUITMENT     TEST      AND THOSE WHO QUALIFY IN THE INTERVIEW.

NOTE-III: NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE    OF    TEST    CENTRE WILL BE ENTERTAINED.

Scheme of the Test:

  •  The test will be of two hours duration and the medium of the test will be both Hindi and English.
  • The test will be objective type with multiple choices of answers and will carry a maximum of 300 marks.
  • All Questions will carry equal marks.
  • There will be penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third of the marks assigned to that question. If no answer is marked for a question, there will be no penalty for that question.
  • The level of the question paper will be of the degree in Ayurveda of a recognized University.

Syllabus of the Test:

The syllabus of the Test will broadly comprise the following topics:

Maulika Siddhamta, Padartha Vijnana, Astanga Sangraha, Rachna Sarira, Krya Sarira, Rasa Sastra evam Bhesajya Kalpana, Dravyaguna Vijnana, Agada Tantra, Vyavahara Ayurveda evam Vidhi Vaidyaka, Roga Vijnana evam Vikriti Vijnana, Charaka Samhita, Swastha Vrtta, Kaya Chikitsa, Shalya Tantra, Shalakya Tantra, Prasuti Tantra and Striroga, Kaumara Bhrtya which are normally included in the B.A.M.S (AYURVEDA) programme of the Indian Universities.
