  • Special Advertisement No. 55/2016 published on 26.11.2016, Vacancy No.16115501726, with closing date of submission of Online Application being 23:59 Hrs. on 15.12.2016 for Recruitment to 13 Posts of Manager Grade‐I / Section Officer in Canteen Stores Department, M/o Defence.

The Commission has decided to conduct a COMBINED COMPUTER BASED RECRUITMENT TEST (Combined CBRT) for short‐listing the candidates for interviews for the above mentioned posts on 19.03.2017 (SUNDAY) (MORNING SESSION) from 09.30 A.M to 11.30 AM. (CANDIDATE’S REPORTING TIME AT EXAM CENTRE IS 08.00 A.M.) at the following Centers. Only such candidates who are shortlisted after CBRT would be asked to submit documents in support of their claim for the posts. Their documents will be scrutinized and those candidates who fulfill all the eligibility conditions of the posts shall be called for interview.

NOTE‐I: INTIMATION ABOUT VENUE OF THE RECRUITMENT           TEST             WILL            BE COMMUNICATED TO THE CANDIDATES IN DUE COURSE.

 

NOTE‐II: CBRT AND     INTERVIEW CARRIES A 50:50     WEIGHTAGE     FOR         CANDIDATES SHORTLISTED   THROUGH    THE    COMBINED COMPUTER       BASED    RECRUITMENT   TEST AND    THOSE     WHO     QUALIFY     IN     THE INTERVIEW

 

NOTE‐III:    NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE OF TEST CENTRE WILL BE ENTERTAINED.

Scheme of the Test:

  1. The test will be of two hours duration and will carry a maximum of 100 marks.
  2. The test will be objective type questions with multiple choices of answer.
  3. All Questions will carry equal marks.
  4. The medium of Test will be both Hindi as well as English except questions pertaining to English Language Skills which will be set in English only.
  5. There will be penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one‐third of the marks assigned to that question. If no answer is marked for a question, there will be no penalty for that question.

The syllabus of the Test will broadly comprise the following topics:

  1. Basic English Language Skills.
  2. General Mental Ability.
  3. Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, Labour Laws.
  4. Principles of Management, General Accounting Principles.
  5. Materials Management.
  6. General Financial Rules.
  7. Developmental Issues, Current Trends in Indian Economy.
  8. Current Events of National and International Importance.
  9. Government Business Interface.
  10. Indian Union and International Affairs.
