Committee constituted for comprehensive Guidelines for safety of school children, CBSE

SUB: SAFETY OF CHILDREN IN SCHOOLS –REG.
This is in continuation of Board’s Circular Dated 12/09/2017 regarding the Safety of Children in Schools wherein the schools were given 2 months time to schools to comply with the safety measures.
The Board has constituted a committee in order to frame comprehensive Guidelines for safety of school children and including among others on psychometric evaluation of teaching and non-teaching staff, safety audit of premises, CCTV monitoring, character antecedent’s verification, visitor management etc.
The detailed guidelines shall be brought out by the Board shortly. The schools will get adequate time to comply with the measures including psychometric evaluation etc. as specified in the final guidelines.
